Aerospace
Boeing has dominated the regional aerospace manufacturing supply chain for decades. And it still does…tier 2, 3, and 4 Boeing suppliers remain actively supporting aerospace applications in the PNW. Our agency was founded in aerospace and to this day is still a core part of our business. Several HCW suppliers leverage AS9100-certification to satisfy stricter aerospace requirements.
Clean Tech
Over the past decade, the West Coast of the U.S has experienced large growth in clean energy manufacturing. Increased energy usage has led to the design, development and manufacture of battery storage systems and grid modernization across the region. Electric vehicles, solar power, and wind energy play a key role here as well. Typical applications we support in this industry are solar panel brackets and wire harness assemblies, electric boat motors and components, PCBAs and copper busbar for EV inverters, air compressor castings for EV truck brake systems, and gearbox housings for electric vehicle powertrain.
Department of Defense
Government contractors populate the West Coast for a wide range of defense applications. Naval manufacturing, radar systems, military aerospace, combat optics, public safety…with half our suppliers ITAR-registered and experienced in the variety of specialty materials used for some of these applications, our capabilities and processes are approved for DoD work and primed to scale. Typical part manufacturing includes precision machined radar shields and heat sinks, cast aircraft carrier propulsion supports, oil discs, heavy duty bearing housings and shells, machined optics, water regulating valves (cast), pressure relief valves (cast), C96200 / C96400 copper nickel couplings and fittings, and aircraft electrical housings.
Heavy Truck & Tier 2 Automotive
Several industry-leading heavy truck and automotive manufacturers are HQ along the West Coast, and we are a stone’s throw away from those engineering and procurement teams who work directly with production suppliers. Performance and racing automotive OEMs are also scattered across the region. HCW suppliers leverage IATF-16949 certifications to meet more stringent automotive manufacturing requirements. Typical applications we support include cast aluminum class 8 engine support brackets, commercial truck oil coolers, fabricated BEV (battery electric) heavy truck supports, oil-free scroll compressor castings, supercharger blower housings, and cast racing hubs.
Industrial
From heavy machinery to agricultural equipment to construction products: the West Coast of the U.S. is home to hundreds of individual OEMs manufacturing and assembling their own product lines. These are the types of customers that our job-shop suppliers were originally founded on. You’ll find our manufactured components and assemblies on waterjet cutting machines, canning machines, trenchers, chopper pumps, potato planting equipment, laser systems, gate security systems, wood cutting machines, mountaineering products, large scale sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, and safety construction equipment to name a few.
Medical
The PNW is a hub of medical manufacturing, and within this market we support OEM’s producing medical stations, MRI machines, diagnostic equipment, microscopes, ventilators, dental equipment and oxygen / wearable sensors to name a few. Several of our suppliers are ISO-13485 certified to meet more stringent medical component requirements. We produce both small and large cast medical stands, intricate machined and cast ventilator componentry, high tolerance microscope liners and fabricated covers and wire harnesses for sensors.
Power Management
Growth in data center development (Microsoft and Amazon) & industrial manufacturing strains the regional electrical grid, driving the need for greater power distribution and power management manufacturing. The industry itself has a major growth trajectory in the years to come, and our suppliers are well positioned to support this expansion. Typical applications we support include sheet metal enclosures, structural racks, electrical cabinets, chassis, extensive busbar applications, and beryllium copper stampings.
