Overview

Greensand casting is one of the most common casting processes utilized in North America today. The versatility of greensand along with lower cost impact make this an optimal process choice for many programs. Our foundry suppliers offer both iron and aluminum greensand casting capabilities, utilizing automated molding lines to support a wide range of volumes and casting weights.

DISA (20x24), Hunter (14x19, 20x24, 30x32), and Spomatic (32x44) molding lines
Aluminum, ductile, chrome iron alloys offered
Casting weights from 1lb. to 500lb.
Casting dimensions up to 40" in single axis
Supporting low, medium and high volume programs (100 - 100,000 EAU)
Vertical integration: core production, casting finishing, flow simulation, new tool development performed in-house
Heat treatment (drop bottom quench) and casting impregnation performed in-house for aluminum castings
